I have written for as long as I can remember, always dreaming of one day making my passion my profession.
It has been a long and winding road and the journey continues.
Born in South Africa, writing became my profession as a journalist on regional newspapers. After immigrating to the UK, I retrained as a Secondary School teacher, a profession I loved until the increased confines of a results-driven ethos made me re-think my career.
Now I tutor, blog, write poetry and home-educate my youngest daughter.
I have written two English Literature study companions as well as three volumes of poetry.
I still hope to make my passion my profession.
